When I redid Clerics into "Kura Clerics," they were designed to have weaker, more efficient, cheaper heals, less resistances, buffs, and were, in general, akin to "Hybrid" healer of other games.
Sorien has agreed to adding new content, if the community approves.
This would be done with the introduction of new classes. There would be a ruleset for disabling new classes from entering matches, if desired. These new classes would have the same stats and ley mechanics of the existing classes. Players would create new characters in the same manner as they currently do. If they wish to be one of the new classes, a moderator will change a level 1, 0 exp character to one of the new classes by manually changing their spell lists to be those of the respective new class. From that point on, the character would be the new class, and would be the new class and have to reroll or create a new character to be the original class. No switching back and forth between classes on the same character.
This would do several things:
1) More customization options to entice players
2) More gameplay diversity
3) New opportunities to level to promote gameplay
Possible classes include:
Cleric Base Class: Healer (Nerfed Kura Cleric), Druid, Blood Mage (?)
Mentalist Base Class: Psionist (aimed mind), Scout
Arcanists Base Class: Rune Mage (Binder), Primalist (Kura OP spells?)
Magician: Troll/Ogre, Some class with Wind Law
Balancing would be done by objective analysis of prevalence of classes and spells within classes to promote class diversity, with final voting by players on 65% approval or higher.
